Are you ready for season 2013?

        Jerseys – check,
        Canteen supplies – check,
        Registrations – check,
       Line marking – huh?

It takes a big effort to ensure that first home game goes without a glitch. Yet at the start of every new season, and often just days out from that first home game, we receive a handful of calls from customers who realise they have a faulty valve or they’re short of liquid.

Stocking plenty of liquid is an absolute essential for a successful line-marking season, says Tony from St Clair United Soccer Club.

“We have a lot to think about this time of year, including our grass, which is growing very fast,” he says. “There’s no way we could run week-to-week on our supplies, the risk would just be too great.”

St Clair had 69 teams last season.

“That’s a lot of homes games,” he says. “We’re currently getting ready for our trial games and marking our sports field once a week. But once the season starts, we’ll be marking twice a week. So to have plenty of liquid on-hand is one less thing to worry about during the season.”

Line Marking Tip 3 reasons to put liquid at the top of your list

1. Buy for the season and make bulk savings
2. Save money on freight prices
3. Minimise downtime and never run-out

Are you ready for match day?

Here is our pre-season checklist to ensure the best in match day performance:

Battery life
If your season finished late last year, that’s about four months since the battery was used. Check and charge your battery well in advance of that first home game.

Pump action
Is your machine marking the correct line width? If not, you could have a blocked pump that’s working at the wrong pressure. Check the pump has been flushed and delivering at full pressure to ensure quality and consistency in your spray width.

Secure hose
A damaged or unsecure hose will cause major problems when marking out your field. Check for leaks and cracks, and give hoses a thorough clean to minimise the risk of downtime and ensure the best lines.

Paint and liquid
Do you have enough paint or liquid to mark your sports field? Check supplies are in-date and that your colour needs are covered. Buy for the whole season and enjoy bulk savings on product and freight prices.

Best field
Prior to marking your sports field, always check for optimal dry whether and low moisture conditions. This will ensure maximum durability and brightness. The ideal grass height is between 15-30mm – this ensures your line marking application has maximum durability and brightness.

Line Marking Tip How much liquid do you need?

A simple calculation to estimate how much liquid you'll need this season. 10L Ultra will cover 2-3 full-size soccer fields for approximately 3 weeks.
